Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Oregon Veterinary License in good standing

Performing surgery including spay and neuter appointments
Dentals and dental extractions
Maintain accurate patient records

Responsibilities
Evaluating animals and checking vitals
Client education
Administering medications, treatments, and vaccines
Drawing blood samples
Performing laboratory tests
Taking X-ray images
Filing prescriptions
Monitoring animals under anesthesia
Directing surgical schedule
Maintaining and supervising accurate patient records
Maintaining surgery instruments and equipment
Maintaining cleanliness of facility
Ability to meet physical demands of restraining animals and lifting up to 40lbs.

Answering phone calls and accurately addressing client and patient needs
Assisting clients with financing options
Maintaining cleanliness of facility
Gentle animal handling including taking and recording patient weights

Staff scheduling
