Qualifications

  • Oregon Veterinary License in good standing

Veterinary Technician

Qualifications

  • Current Oregon Veterinary Technician License (RVT/CVT/LVT)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating animals and checking vitals

  • Client education

  • Administering medications, treatments, and vaccines

  • Drawing blood samples

  • Performing laboratory tests

  • Taking X-ray images

  • Filing prescriptions

  • Monitoring animals under anesthesia

  • Directing surgical schedule

  • Maintaining and supervising accurate patient records

  • Maintaining surgery instruments and equipment

  • Maintaining cleanliness of facility

  • Ability to meet physical demands of restraining animals and lifting up to 40lbs.

Veterinary Reception

  • Minimum 6 months customer service experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients to facility and providing excellent customer service

  • Maintain accurate client and patient records

  • Maintain flow of clients and patients

  • Ensure accuracy of invoicing and taking payments

  • Managing appointment schedule

  • Answering phone calls and accurately addressing client and patient needs

  • Assisting clients with financing options

  • Maintaining cleanliness of facility

  • Gentle animal handling including taking and recording patient weights

  • Ability to meet physical demands of standing and/or sitting for long periods

Veterinary Assistant

  • Minimum 6 months animal handling experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarian in exams, procedures, and surgery

  • Gentle animal handling techniques

  • Client education in animal wellness

  • Keeping accurate patient care logs

  • Assisting with X-ray images

  • Assisting with laboratory tests

  • Communicating with clients for patient care updates

  • Patient care including feeding, medicating, and grooming

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months management experience

  • Business degree or equivalent (BA, BS) preferred.

  • Excellent leadership, communication and conflict management skills


Responsibilities

  • Maintain professionalism in high-stress situations

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Developing and implementing policy and procedure

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure staff adherence to policy and procedures

  • Recruiting, interviewing candidates, and hiring team members

  • Customer service and conflict resolution

  • Organizing and implementing inventory management including ordering supplies

  • Organizing staff meetings and staff training opportunities

  • Organizing and monitoring doctor scheduling

  • Staff scheduling

  • Answering phones and addressing client and patient needs

  • Ensure accurate invoicing and record keeping
